As long as your Wii is still (mostly) functional, find some help, start the modding process over. You (almost) never need to undo what you've already done. I have a softmodded wii with Homebrew Channel. I followed a few older tutorials at the time and I have a few apps on my home-brew channel (IOS236 Installer, WAD Manager, installer for WiiGator's cMIOS, USB Loader GX, and NeoGamma) After watching some tutorials that use WIIMOD to install.Wads for channels for things like loading backed up GC games, I am thinking I might want to use WII Mod and a few other apps.

Now what I don't know is after doing following all kinds of different tutorials (that might have been outdated) I have NO Clue which.wads I have installed in which IOS and I am not too familiar with how it all works. I don't see a way to see which things are installed in which IOS and worry that if I follow a tutorial that says to install the.wads for an updated version of an app or a new app on say, IOS 249, but already have something installed there will it just overwrite? Will it then render the app I might want to keep thats already installed there unusable? Also, If i remove a channel such as NEO Gammer or USB Loader GX does that also remove the wads in whatever IOS slot they are in? Would it be best to erase everything on Homebrew channel and start over with a blank SD Card? I would imagine that all of the initial set up I did would be unharmed if I Just wiped the Homebrew Channel and all installed channels through it clean? Rookie stuff I know, I am just trying to maintain the integrity of my soft modded wii while getting the full potential out of it.

If you're unsure then don't delete anything - just redo things on top of where you are. DO NOT DELETE THE HOMEBREW CHANNEL. YOU CAN LAUNCH ALL INSTALLERS OYU NEED TO GET (RE) MODDED FROM THERE. You may delete your SD card contents (if you made a NAND backup, keep that obviously). You may delete any channels you have installed - I always recommend lauhcing apps directly from The Homebrew Channel.
